Hey guys. So, this is going to be a combo of my weeks five and six Nutrisystem update and my 12 month postpartum update. I was going to do separate videos, but I decided to combine them into one video.
I am 12 months postpartum and I have been on Nutrisystem for a month and a half. If I’m not a month and a half yet then I will be next week. I’ve completed six weeks of Nutrisystem. I am now down 13 pounds. When I got on the scale on my weigh in day it said 151. Then, I weighed myself today and I was 152. Then I remembered Aunt Flo is going to come soon.
I feel like in my pictures and my belly shot I’m a little more bloated than usual. It’s not as bad as it has been in the past. I think I’ve been consistently losing weight. I lost 5 pounds my first week when I did the Fast 5 and since then I’ve been losing 2 pounds every week. I’m really hoping that I can lose 2 pounds a week.
I think I’m going to start trying to do some exercises. I’ve been doing 100 squats a day for the last week and a half. I feel like that something I really want to keep up with even when I’m not doing the diet. I’ve done the 30 day squat challenge twice and I’ve had really good results from it. But, after the 30 days I just give up and my booty goes back to deflation mode. If I could keep losing 2 pounds a week I could reach my goal weight.
I would like to lose 30 pounds. I started at 166. So, if I lose 30 pounds I would be at 136. I feel like I would want to weigh around 130 or 135. We’ll just see how it goes. I’m hoping I will reach the 30 pound mark. I’m almost half way there.
I have been getting questions about Nutrisystem pricing and a couple of other questions. All pricing information is on their website. Obviously, I would spend the money if I had it, but I know it won’t be something everyone can fit into their budget. It is a little pricey, but you really don’t have to buy other foods except for fruits and vegetables.
I’ve had people tell me that I should be eating fruits and vegetables. I’ve just been showing the Nutrisystem meals. They suggest that you have 4 servings of vegetables and then you can have Powerfuels. These include yogurt, cheese, nuts, or any kind of fish. It’s recommended to eat three Powerfuels every day. Then you should have 4 servings of vegetables.
You can eat the vegetables with your dinner or have it as a snack. You can have extras like creamer in your coffee or salad dressing, but those are limited.
You can eat one smart carb a day. These include whole grain bread, rice or a piece of fruit. I’m having more than just breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m spending money on fruits and vegetables and I’m eating more than I was before.
As far as postpartum goes, I feel like nothing has changed. Everything has been the same for the past 6 months. I lost hair postpartum and it has stopped, but the regrowth is terrible. My periods are normal. My incision hasn’t caused me pain for months. That’s it for this update. I will show you guys my stomach and my incision.
This is what I look like a year postpartum and 5 weeks after using Nutrisystem. I definitely feel like I’m getting smaller around my waist and I feel like the rest of my body is getting smaller too. My arms and legs are smaller.
Here is my incision. It looked bad at first, but I’m happy with how it looks now. It’s a light scar now and barely noticeable. That is it for my one year postpartum and 5 week Nutrisystem update video. Thanks for watching. I’ll see you next time. Bye.
